Cash Money Covers for Charity

Throughout the month of September, Wine & Puzzle Nights will pilot a new initiative called "Cash Money Covers for Charity". For 18 months, guests have been welcomed with open arms and not asked for contributions towards the food and alcohol collection (though many of you have so generously done so, for which I am most grateful) - the idea being that you are all always welcome to my home and it is a privilege and honor that you should choose to deem Cash Money Manor a worthy recipient of your valuable time.

Many of you know that I am passionate about the Columbus civic engagement scene and paying it forward. And this is something I share with many of our incredible guests. "Cash Money Covers for Charity" will feature an organization and cause right here in central Ohio, and an optional cover charge (donation) will be so smoothly solicited at the door - with all proceeds directly going to the featured organization. Hopefully you will find that you enjoy far more value out of Wine & Puzzle Night than the donation you put in if you choose to do so - and never underestimate how far a dollar can go to create or perpetuate positive change.

September will feature a nonprofit for which I have had the extraordinary pleasure of serving on the board: 1girl. Should this pilot prove to be a success, we will launch a monthly or bi-monthly Cash Money Cover for Charity featuring a new organization - suggestions are always welcome!
