Food for Thoughts

Last Thursday we had our first Third Thursday Thought Supper of 2017. And it was a resounding success, thanks to the open minds and inquisitive souls that came around a table of buffalo chicken pot stickers, roasted corn and zucchini orzo salad, pecan stuffed mushrooms, fruit salad, and oreo creme pie, to talk about topics from the idea of rail transportation in Columbus, to the refugee crisis and US involvement in Syria, to feminism, to the fragility of life and strength of the human body.
I am so in awe of the people in my life, their raw intelligence and critical thinking, their authenticity and loyalty to themselves but their empathy, respect, and interest for others, and their openness to welcoming new perspectives and willingness to listen and learn with a healthy balance of sharing their voice because we all have value to give.
This was easily one of my favorite moments at Cash Money Manor, and I truly hope to see you be a part of one of these dinners in the future.
